StackAdapt Furthers People-Based Targeting Efforts by Offering Near Real-Time Onboarding Through LiveRamp

StackAdapt is the First Self-Serve Demand-Side Platform in the US and UK to Make LiveRamp’s RampID Retrieval API Directly Accessible for Platform Users.

Toronto, ON and San Francisco, CA – May 20, 2020, updated June 20, 2022 We’re excited to announce an expansion to our partnership with LiveRamp, the leading global data enablement platform. Our integration with LiveRamp now gives advertisers in the US and UK direct access to onboard and activate Customer Relationship Management (CRM) audiences within 30 minutes to a few hours. The partnership also enhances StackAdapt’s Audiences capabilities globally, powering one of the industry’s most comprehensive targeting solutions with accuracy and reach.

LiveRamp’s people-based identity graph—the largest omnichannel graph on the open internet—enables StackAdapt to provide device-level targeting based on deterministic data and reach consumers across multiple channels.

In addition to providing the ability to leverage CRM data on the open web, this integration offers several unique capabilities:

  • Near Real-Time Audiences: Advertisers can upload their CRM data, including emails, names, phone numbers and postal addresses through the StackAdapt UI and have it matched to create a new segment within 30 minutes to a few hours. This makes audiences readily available for launching time-sensitive campaigns.
  • Privacy-first and Secure: LiveRamp removes personally identifiable information (PII) and replaces it with pseudonymous record keys during the matching process so that data can be used in a privacy-conscious manner with confidence for campaigns.
  • Full Control: StackAdapt self-serve clients maintain full control over their CRM data in a platform they are familiar navigating. All uploaded data is obfuscated and translated into LiveRamp’s person-based identifier in the StackAdapt UI  so the customer data can be activated without exposing sensitive personal information.

”We’re excited to help StackAdapt make the onboarding experience faster and easier for their customers by embedding this functionality in their platform,” says Travis Barnes, Product Manager, Identity Commercialization at LiveRamp. “With LiveRamp, StackAdapt is increasing the types of identifiers that clients can onboard, which opens the door to faster innovation and better performance powered by LiveRamp’s privacy-by-design architecture.”

“The partnership enables clients to leverage LiveRamp’s identity solutions more seamlessly than ever to onboard and activate the CRM audiences without disruption while maintaining control over their data. ” said Michael Shang, Director of Programmatic Partnerships & BI, StackAdapt. “We have eliminated the issues of bugs and delays experienced with external UIs and have brought the capability directly to our self-serve advertisers. This is especially relevant for timely campaigns, such as those in the political realm, where CRM data is essential to campaign success.”

StackAdapt’s Audiences capabilities can now move further away from cookie-based dependencies to a solution that provides a one-to-one match for people-based marketing.
